Windows Refurbishing
Window refurbishment including putty
Older wooden windows need maintenance, usually the sealer or putty perishes letting water in which rots the wood.
It's best to regularly maintain but sometimes layers of paint hide rotten sills or frames which need replacing or filling.
I have done loads of sash refurbishments replacing putty or just cleaning and repainting.
The bay window in the pictures was totally rotten through to the inside and required new wood and a decen amount of filler. New straight putty and a coat of paint ensures it will last for years to come.
