Sofa Height Raised

The sofa was too low and was difficult to get up from. Rather than replace the feet for larger ones, a common solution is to create a plinth to raise the height.

The solution was to source the same material use and construct a strong sturdy frame, or plinth, for the whole to rest on creating around 9 inches in extra height allowing the sofa to be used.

The material was stitched to exactly match the existing along with the correct puff for the material.

Sofa can now be used as intended by the clients and it looks as if it was always meant to be!

Clients are very happy as the quoted cost by the sofa manufacturer was in the thousands - done for a fraction of this.
