Bathroom Sink Installation prt 1

The bathroom sink and taps were to be placed in an awkward space in the bathroom and it was decided a bespoke plinth for the sink was to made to give a grand feeling and leave plenty of space for toiletries and toothbrushes etc. that every family has.

The front legs were actually staircase balustrades cut to size with the frame fixed to the wall.

The tile top surface, that the sink placed upon, used the same large tiles elsewhere in the bathroom and tiles on top of a plywood surface to ensure enough strength.

Same tiles were used for the splash surround and front. A chrome edge was used to give an exuberant feel. A chrome sink bottle trap was also installed as this was linkely to be on show.

Originally another tiled shelf was going to be made, but the client like the plinth and the space under the sink.
